Knowing When to Stop

Knowing when to stop is a terribly important skill to acquire.

A child who has lost in the comic world, has to know it's time to stop, when eating, drinking, and showering are no longer done.

A man who has started betting on win, lose or draw of a football game with money, has to know it's time to stop even before money beyond his reach is sought to place bet.

A woman who has started a romantic relationship with her dream man, has to know it's time to stop when she's mentally and physically dominated and abused.

A stressed out family member who has faught to keep a loved one under palliative care alive, has to know it's time to stop active treatment when stress is beyond manageable level despite money has been dumped in.

We must learn to pause, stop, let go, and let heal. We must be ready to accept that discomfort and even pain is expected of recovery. No one knows him/herself can brave the challenge until trials, endurance, repeated trials and more are gone through.

May we have more enlightening moments for people who have lost their ways.
